Educator Professional Development
We believe educators are the keystones of learning ecosystems. When educators are given the support they need to thrive, the entire ecosystem also thrives – especially learners of all ages who we consider the indicators of ecosystem health. We are currently collaborating with existing professional development programs in Ohio to expand effective practices for immersive outdoor environmental education professional development for in-service formal and informal educators.
Youth Programming
We know that the youth of today are the environmental stewards of tomorrow. Through collaborative efforts with local organizations, we’re investigating effective strategies and innovative approaches to engage teens in meaningful environmental education. Our research aims to center youth voices and provide insights that will empower educators to create impactful, hands-on learning opportunities that connect youth with the rest of the natural world.
