About Me

Hi! My name is Witty Kwok and I am from Hilliard, Ohio. I come from a family of five, which consists of my parents, my older brother and sister, and me. Typically, I am stacked with work and study, but in my free time, I love to run, play music, and read. Often times, I would venture out into the wilderness and go exploring with my family and friends.

In 2019, I graduated from Hilliard Darby High School, where I made many connections through extracurricular activities such as Key Club, Math Club, National Honors Society, Cross Country, Track and Field, Marching Band, and many more. Likewise, I was able to make connections as well as learn many life skills through my work at Whit’s Frozen Custard and Sunrise International Market. During high school, I was an active volunteer at the Information Desks and Volunteer Office of Riverside Methodist Hospital. I also participated in a summer research internship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital to familiarize myself with the medical research environment along with diving deep into immunology and UTI (for more information: futuresmattersc.weebly.com).

Currently, I am attending The Ohio State University to study Neuroscience and minoring in Music. I am also following the Pre-Medicine track in order to become a doctor who can directly interact, support, and treat patients. Alongside my occupation, I hope to research whenever I can to find a better treatment for illnesses such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and reversing the effects of trauma and conversion disorders. With the additional experiences I will receive during my undergraduate years, I believe that I will be better suited to contribute to both my community and the nation. Even if my actions and contributions are small, I have come to learn that they can still make a huge impact on the lives I have touched and drive me to continue helping all that I can.
