This past August, I had the opportunity of moving in two days early with the OWL program. By becoming an OWL, I was able to meet the people I would be living with this year in Barrett House. During the program we did bonding activities, toured the campus, and attended special OWL events. On our last day as OWL’s, we helped our peers to move-in. I believe that participating in this program helped me to know my way around campus much sooner and helped me to be better acclimated over-all. I hope to become involved in similar groups during my time here at Ohio State, both as a participant and potentially as a leader. I am currently involved with a couple clubs and organizations but I plan on extending my horizons even more so.
