Snowboard

Snowboarding commodity chain

There are many stages that go into the creation of the snowboard. People on a daily basis don’t think about where the bolt from the snowboard came from or where the plastic on the bindings came from. People pass by these details because they are such small details to them since they can’t see the big picture. These little features are what make it possible for people to buy these snowboards right off the shelves of stores. The resources used come from countries all over the world. Without the connection with the other countries we would be in an economic and social crisis.

Main Commodity chain processes:

Community

Design

Manufacturing

Raw Materials

Resource Collecting

Shipping and Packing

All of these commodity chain processes have an affiliation with either the environmental aspect or the social aspect to maintaining stability. Without one of these processes the snowboard would never be made with all the resources needed.
