Hi, my name is Rafi Khan. I am an undergraduate student at OSU pursuing a major in Aerospace and Astronautical Engineering. Throughout high school, I have been a member of my school’s Engineering Academy and Dublin Scioto Rocket Team. At Engineering Academy I have worked in multiple projects like building a Mars Rover which had to autonomously navigate terrains and complete tasks and I also hold a record for building the strongest popsicle bridge which could support 450 lbs. In my third year of being a member of the Rocket Team, I was promoted as the leader and was responsible for building rockets to participate in the Team America Rocketry Challenge.
At OSU, I have joined the Underwater Robotics Team, Buckeye Space Launch Initiative, and The American Institute of Aerospace and Aeronautics. I am looking forward to gaining as much knowledge and experience I can from these organizations and productively finish my freshman year.
