Hello!
My name is Katherine Mathes and I am an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. I am an alumni of The Ohio State University having graduated with my Bachelors Degree in 2012 and my Masters Degree in 2016. I have specialized in Emergency Medicine, particularly related to Oncology patients and work at the James in the Oncology Pod of the Emergency Department. Other areas I have practiced in include Open Heart Surgery and Interventional Radiology. I first found my passion for teaching during my senior year of my undergraduate degree when I was able to assist clinical instructors during their clinical. It opened my eyes to the world of teaching and I have been interested in it ever since.
