My WarholAndy Warhol’s big idea was making art out of “every day” items. Things that anyone can have access to, Campbell soup cans were his more iconic subjects of art. I chose to use my first place ribbon from the Equestrian team because this is a symbol that represents me as a member of the Ohio State team and it means a whole lot to me as a whole. It’s the culmination of a lot of hard work throughout the semester. I also believe that the other girls on the team would be able to connect with this design, as well.
My use of Photoshop as a tool to create this image is similar to what Warhol did because he liked to use machinery to create art, and Photoshop could be considered a type of machine.
