Graduate Research Associate, Jan 2015 – Present
• Act as the leader of Research group. Schedule and hold regular meeting every week.
• Design and guide to test two masonry wall structure frame buildings by removing four load-bearing exterior walls: Blackburn House in Nov 2014 and Nosker House in June 2015.
• Be responsible for data acquirement including 4 LVDT sensors, and 8 steel strain gauges and 18 concrete strain gauges.
• Create 3D SAP2000 structural analysis model for Blackburn House and Nosker House. Model the building’s response due to the walls continuous removal.
• Generate 2D and 3D SAP2000 model of Haskett House – a steel structure with infill masonry walls to investigate the structural influence of masonry infill wall in panel for progressive collapse.
• Investigate the contribution of infill walls to frame structures of Haskett Hall by generating 2D SAP2000 Modeling using shell elements and multi-struts macro method modeling.
• Utilize GAS, DoD, ASCE guild lines to analyze the progressive collapse structural evaluation.
• Non-contact measurement based on homography transformation in photogrammetry area.
