End of Year 2

This year was a journey!

I ended up quitting my job towards the end of the year, I gained more friends and more confidence. My dad and I went on a European trip that was just amazing. With the amount of cultural sites we visited I just knew Anthropology was for me.

I added an International Relations major to my Anthropology one and started the headache inducing journey of figuring out what I would like to do in my future. I have such a long list of jobs and internships that look so interesting.

I’m proud of my more personal journey as I have made more friends, connected more with family and really took care of my health and wellness.

The one thing that I am upset about for this was the fact that I did not complete the STEP program. However with COVID and my courses, it would not have worked out well for the internship that I had planned. Although, My STEP leader Prof. Jusdanis was such a great person and he was really fantastic to work with.

It was a good year despite COVID cancelling halfway through but now I know what to do for the coming semesters.

End of the Year Reflection- First Year

It’s the end! Well not really, but it’s almost here. There was a lot to process throughout my first year of Undergrad.

There were a lot of bright points as I had a great job, I made friends, I got to  experience new things and meet new people. I got to learn more about the Columbus Community and everything around campus. I was always an OSU football fan so Game Days were awesome! A goal for next year is to be in Block O with the other students.

Learning to study was hard and it was a big transition from high school to college. I did take a big step in making sure my academics were heading in the direction that I wanted it to which is why I chose to change to Anthropology with a minor in Music.

I also to a large step in learning more about wellness in both physical and mental. I think that being in college is a great way to transform oneself both academically and personally.

It will be a challenge but one that I am up for!
