I have found that there are three simple things that will determine your success in online classes, note taking skills, communicating effectively and not procrastinating. Taking notes in an online class can be difficult because of lack of in person lectures. However you must still be able to take good notes on course material or you will fall behind. Communicating is another key, whether its with your teacher for various reasons or members in a group project making sure you communicate to everyone will make your experience much smoother. Last but certainly not least you can not procrastinate. Procrastinating has been a huge problem of mine and many others for a long time now. It can be very hard to stay on task especially without consistent meeting times for your class but you still must stay on schedule.
