My journey

————-The Ohio State University————-

Ph.D. Student, Since Aug 2018

In 2018, I found a new way to challenge myself and explore a world of new possibilities, a realm without any limitations. I declined job offers from BNY Mellon and Busigence and decided to join the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University as a Ph.D. student. I received two years of guaranteed funding from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) for Artificial Intelligence course.

In December 2018, I joined the Network-Based Computing Laboratory (NOWLAB) in the High-Performance Deep Learning (HiDL) project as a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) under Prof. DK Panda. Since then I am working on Distributed Deep Neural training and exploring new types of parallelism in different types of Deep Neural Networks.

My journey at the NOWLAB started with the Introduction to High-Performance Deep Learning course in Autumn, 2018. I worked on an exciting class project (exploring model parallelism possibility in TensorFlow). This project changed my research interests and introduced me to distributed DNN training. This small project transformed into a research topic for me and we published two research papers in top conferences like SuperComputing and ISC.
