Tso Lab,directed by Dr. Ivy Tso, conducts research investigating how the brain processes social information and how these processes are affected in psychiatric populations, especially schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. We use behavioral, electrophysiological, neuroimaging, brain stimulation, and computational methods in our studies. The overarching goal of our work is to identify biobehavioral markers of serious mental disorders in order to develop novel interventions to effectively improve patients’ social functioning and quality of life. We work closely with the EPICENTER to advance science and knowledge in this area.
