  1. Hi, Michael. I am glad to see that you research the same major topic as us. Culture shock is one of the commonest problems for every fresh international student. Specifying your subtopics into relations is an excellent move. It can really help us watching your video know clearly about how to communicate with Americans. Also, your clear voice, simple layout, and substantial content attract everyone who wants to understand what the relations with Americans look like. I learn a lot from your video.

  2. Hello, Michael. Good topic! Cultural shock is a tough mission for international students to overcome. After watching your group’s video, I have had a general idea on the differences between China and America. For example, the class model, how to deal with friendships and how to get along with our families are all what we need to learn. Your video warns me a lot as well as giving me a way to change.

  3. Nice to meet you, Michael! the culture shock is a good choice that not only attracts international students to have a further understanding but also exactly a serious problem that needs to face. From your video, I learn that Chinese and American families are different both on beliefs and values. thanks for your presentation so that as a Chinese student I can avoid some embarrassing situations due to the different cultural backgrounds in my future life.

  4. Hi, Michael! The topic of this video is the same as that of our group, and culture shock is a topic worthy of discussion for international students. Each of you in video has a clear voice, and powerpoint is very logical, which makes me feel that you have made this video carefully. In addition, as you mentioned, academic integrity is very important, which will have a great impact on our academic achievements in the future. Most international students should adapt to this aspect as soon as possible.

  5. Hi, Michael. The topic that your group chose is familiar with our international students because we are facing the same problem every day. For me, the relationship with the professor is the biggest barrier that I am facing right now, so I cannot agree more with the relationship with the professor. Besides that, the pictures that you chose is well related to your topic and make your movie more logical. However, each member’s volume is different and the quality of voice is not that great can make me hardly hear you guys’ voice.

  6. Hi Michael, I agree with your group’s presentation about some differences between China and the U.S. Particularly for the part of gift giving. Most Americans would receive their friends’ gift with proud and directly open it up in front of the sender to show that they really appreciate the gift and like it. On the other hand, Chinese people would behave prissily to show their polite and respect to the giver. That is a very interesting difference among cultures.
