National Restaurant Association Show Application
Each year, the Hospitality Management Program offers the opportunity for hospitality students to travel to Chicago, IL for the National Restaurant Association Show. Students may apply to the trip with the following application. The trip will be self funded with the opportunity to gain financial support through the Big Dish travel awards (monetary). The National Restaurant Association Show is the place to explore everything that’s happening in the industry—from equipment and supplies to food & beverage to technology, it’s all here. National Restaurant Association show dates: May 16-19, 2020
OSU trip travel dates: May 15-17/18, 2020 (dates not finalized)
Estimated Costs: Eligible students have the possibility of Travel awards ($500) to assist with costs of the trip. (options and price differences are shown below)
- Anticipated Hotel: $325 per night x 2 nights = $650 total (Quad = $162.50; Double Occupancy = $325)
- Anticipated food/misc: $150
- Travel: $150 bus or $250-$300 airfare
- Show: $125
- Total:
- Double occupancy: $750 (with bus travel)
- Quad occupancy: $590 (with bus travel)
