Project Statement
This is a small collection of my favorite outcomes from my career of designing these album covers and showcase a wide variety of technical skill, from CAD in blender on the cover for Quick, Riot, and the Make Sure advertisement; photoshop technique every piece; traditional art in the My Little World Cover and LifeStar; and practical effects in the cover of Dead Promises (Created the skull and painted it to work as a prop relating to the original pink skull cover to it’s left). Most creators allowed control when it came to creating a new cover with just a few suggestions or requirements for the piece.
Reflection
The journey of creating these covers is essentially what got me so hooked on visual design. I realized it could actually turn into a real career and wanted to dive headfirst into making advertisements and marketing materials for any client I could find. I still regularly accept requests to make new covers and I find a lot of joy in each new creation.
