About Me

Senior Pic-Lettermans

My name is Bailey Hicks and I am a proud Pre-Nursing/Pre-Med student at The Ohio State University. I received an Air Force ROTC scholarship and will proudly be serving my country in a few short years. My major goal once I am a professional in the medical field is to change the lives of those I treat, one patient at a time, with accurate demonstration of knowledge of the task at hand as well a caring attitude. Learning about my Aunt’s work as a nurse and from other experiences and research, I fell in love with the idea that I can help those who need it for a living. Through many years of playing various sports, it was very evident to me that I love working with people and enjoy working with others towards a common goal. As an experienced athlete, I have found that I have a passion for sports; mainly football and wrestling, the varsity sports that I played at Tabb High School in Yorktown, Virginia, and I hope to continue participating on club teams at OSU. I was born and raised a Buckeye before I even understood what the word ‘college’ meant, and I’m ecstatic to be living my dream by attending Ohio State.
