At HealthNow, we are dedicated to improving the health of our community. We focus on helping patients, especially those living with HIV, Hepatitis C, substance use disorder (SUD), and other infectious diseases. Our team screens all patients for important public health issues and works to remove any barriers to care, with special attention to those most at risk.
Our Services
Located in the Emergency Department at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (East and Main Campus), our Health Promotion Advocates (HPAs) are here to help. They screen all patients and provide a range of health services based on individual needs, including:
- Connecting patients to care for substance use disorder (SUD)
- HIV and Hepatitis C testing
- Harm reduction education
- Naloxone distribution
- Referrals to other healthcare services and providers
