  • Global Awareness: At my time here at OSU I wish to take adavantage of the  travel abroad opportunities provided around the end of my sophomore or junior year. I also want to take part in some cultural organizations on campus, because it is extremely important for us to try and connecting with people of other ideas and cultures not just by traveling around the world but  reaching out to people on such a diverse campus.
  • Original Inquiry: Being involved with research programs on campus is something I find very exciting, whether that be simply participating in research projects or really taking part in shaping ideas through under the guidance of incredible professors here at OSU and their work. I think it is extremely important not only for us to learn from what we are offered, but also create and give back however we can.
  • Academic Enrichment: Being an honors student has really helped me take rigorous and upper level classes in things I enjoy in small classroom settings that really make learning easier through discussion and building positive relationships with my professors.
  • Leadership Development: Collaboration on group projects and presentations is an important way for us to work on our leadership skills, such as communication and handiling responsibilty, and being in classes in which I took the initiative to sign up for has given me a stronger sense of commitment and responsibility. I hope to develop my leadership skills here at OSU by finding a job on campus.
  • Service Engagement: Community service has always been that is and should be something extremely important to me, and I hope to take full advantage of all of the organizations and projects here on campus that do so much to help give back to our community.
