Hello! My name is Haley LaTorre and I am a senior at The Ohio State University. I want to teach 2nd or 3rd grade. I like to hang out with my friends at church group and love to hang out with my siblings on the weekends. I love to shop with my mom and my friend Natalie. I am a major coffee person and love to listen to country music, along with Morgan Wallen as my favorite artist. I work a part-time job while going to school. I like to organize my room to make it new and pretty. I am looking forward to this class, learning new things with my classmates. Things I am hoping to get from this class is how I can become a better teacher and have my future students engaged with what will help them with their education as they grow.
I am hoping to grow with my peers to learn and have guidance that I will be able to take with me after I have began teaching in my future classroom. I want to be able to have what I learned from this course on pedagogy and having the skills and strategies. I am hoping to have an understanding on what I have learned in this course and how it will help me in my future courses. I am hoping to have gained knowledge in this course that will help me become a better teacher. I want my future students see me as a role model to them to talk to and receive guidance.
