In English 1110.01, we are asked to create a symposium. A symposium is a five minute video on a topic we have chosen. For my symposium, I decided to create a video on code-switching. The definition of code-switching is when people reflexively or subtly change the way they express themselves towards certain people. I presented this topic because it stemmed from my analytical research paper topic which is the memory of the treatment of African-American women.
