First Semester Artifact

Joining Alpha Kappa Psi was one of the most exciting things I’ve done this semester. It was so fun to grow closer with everyone in the business fraternity, to grow personally, and to grow professionally. We were all given a membership pin, and i believe this pin represents all the hard work and dedication that went into joining the fraternity. The pin came when my new member class was considered a member of Alpha Kappa Psi. It is a small pin that is wore with business professional clothes, and it signifies my pride in my business fraternity.

About Me

I am a motivated, people-oriented, and lighthearted individual currently studying Finance at The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business in the Business Scholars Program. I am excited to have the chance to pursue my passions during my time at Ohio State, and I am always in search of opportunities to develop personally and professionally.

In high school, I interned at the student-run school bank Comet Savings and Loan where I held the title as Vice President of Finance. I discovered my interest in Finance through my management responsibilities including: balancing $200,000 in deposits on hand, managing 800 accounts, analyzing financial statements, and employee training. I also served as Treasurer for the Greek Orthodox Youth of America where I managed financial accounts and distributed funds to activities and donations.

I am excited to discover where my passions lie within Finance during my four years at Ohio State. Feel free to contact me at georgostathis.2@osu.edu
