BCS is located near Baker Lake in a mixed conifer forest. This sensor was installed in September of 2010 and has only kept consistent data through summer of 2017 (with a gap in data collection between the summers of 2013 and 2015. Our data suggests summertime daily maximum temperatures averaging at 71°F and cool to about 42°F overnight. In the winter, daily high temperatures average about 50°F and nighttime low temperatures average 10°F.
