Graduate Advisor Workshop: Practical Info

What:
A workshop aimed at young faculty making the transition to graduate advising, but open to math faculty at all levels. The participants will be a mix of assistant professors, associate professors, and full professors brainstorming on the many components of the advisor-student relationship. Non-regular faculty who are active in, or expect to be active in graduate advising soon are also welcome to participate.
Who:
Some experienced leading faculty participants include: Benjamin Braun from University of Kentucky, Fadil Santosa from University of Minnesota, Angela Gibney from Rutgers University, and Phil Kutzko from University of Iowa. The local organizers are María Angélica Cueto, Dave Penneys , Krystal Taylor, and Daniel Thompson from the Ohio State University.

Funded by a combination of MRI at Ohio State, the Erdős Institute, the Indiana Math Journal, and the National Science Foundation.
