About Me

Chloe Foster is a first year student majoring in Biology and minoring in Spanish. She is from Mason, OH which is outside Cincinnati. She is interested in the health field and is thinking about attending medical school after her four years of undergrad at Ohio State. Chloe’s two favorite subjects are Biology and Spanish, and she hopes to bridge those interests during her time at Ohio State. Having been a part of Spanish National Honors Society in high school, she hopes to continue learning about Spanish culture and getting involved with the language itself. In her free time she also enjoys playing piano and guitar.IMG_2303.PNG

Final Strategic Plan

After my first semester at Ohio State, I feel even more excited and curious for what the future has in store. I have already experienced so much, made so many meaningful friendships, and learned so much about myself. I have a clear understanding of my major and the required courses needed to complete for it. I also have developed a clear secondary path of study to consider. Throughout the first semester not only in Health Science Scholars seminar but in other classes, I have become aware of a plethora of resources that are available to me as a student at Ohio State. Multiple speakers have come in to speak and bring useful information such as undergraduate research, dealing with stress, and much more. My classes and resources in different clubs will help me narrow down what my career goals. I know that the more in depth I am involved in clubs, the more I will learn about myself as well as others. The first semester brings about unique challenges, including adjusting to being responsible for taking care of yourself independently for the first time. This new challenge requires discipline to try to make healthy and smart decisions. My plan to stay healthy while balancing many academic and social aspects of college is to try to utilize the healthier choices in the dining halls, as well as trying my best to exercise regularly, even when I am exhausted from classes. I will be able to stick to it as long as I make a realistic goal for myself and don’t push myself too hard. I plan to utilize the wisdom from faculty members and upperclassman as much as I possibly can. When professors give me advice, I take it to heart and try to apply it to my everyday life. I am excited to see what my future years at Ohio State hold for me.
