About Me

Roberto Fernández MoralesCV is a Sociology PhD Graduate Student at The Ohio State University. His research focuses on the intersection between social movements and culture, particularly conservative and far-right ideology. His recent work centers on the contemporary music of white supremacy, especially Hatecore: white supremacist rock music. This analysis of Hatecore reflects a more general interest in studying how these far-right social movements broadcast their ideology while engaging in mainstream cultural productions of music and, more broadly, popular culture.
