1)  Group Identification

2)  Primary Means of Communication and Expectations

 

All members will be expected to respond and read the texts from the group chat that has been formed within a reasonable time (3-5 hours).

 

3)  Scheduling of Meetings

 

Teammates will agree, via the group chat, upon any meeting times and academic necessities before the next class and will remind each other before the meeting occurs.

Meeting Schedule: Meetings will be determined as needed.

Agenda: Discuss requirements and the current project status. Any other agenda TBD.

 

 

4)  General Responsibilities for All Team Members

 

Academic Lifeguards Code of Conduct:

  • Go to class.
  • Stay on task within class and lab assignments.
  • Complete lab group assignments and fair share of the work.
  • Notify each other if sick or incapable of completing assignment.
  • All teammates must agree on any action or decision to any assignment.

 

5)  Specific Team Member Responsibilities/Deadlines (If applicable)

 

Detailed in “Project Schedule.”

 

6)  Conflict Resolution

  1. Discuss the issue that has arisen with the entire group and collectively vote on a decision.
  2. If further discontent occurs, come to an agreement with a GTA or Professor.
  3. If still no resolution occurs, allow the professor to administrate over the decision.
  4. If all else fails, disband group.

 

7)  Expectations of Faculty and GTA’s

 

If a team member fails to complete a given assignment without a justified or agreed upon reason, the team member may possibly be reported to the staff, but the assignment will fall unto the rest of the team. Depending on the severity of the assignment, possible reconciliation may be necessary with a GTA or professor.
