My “ElectaHoop” Venture

Today my group (Chandler Horwat, Drew Jacovsky, Molly Frabotta, Ashton Cole, & Sebastian Lowery) and I gave our final presentation.  After a lot of brainstorming, a little research forced us to make a huge pivot.  That pivot led us towards the ElectaHoop, a basketball goal with unique functionality.  We completed thorough market validation and feasibility analysis and came to the conclusion that the ElectaHoop is a product with demand and purpose.  From that point on, creating and delivering the presentation was easy.  We crafted a detailed PowerPoint and expanded on it for our classmates.  This process was enjoyable, engaging, and educational, while also providing me with a true glimpse of what it means to be an entrepreneur in today’s crowded market.  I’m excited to take the lessons I learned from this project with me in my future business endeavors.

If you’d like to review the project that resulted from my group’s extensive work our Business Model Canvas is linked here: ElectaHoop Business Model Canvas
