Lab 11 consisted of the final testing for every teams AEV design. The AEV had to complete all components of the MCR to receive full credit. The AEV had to travel to the gate where it was to stop for seven seconds while waiting for the gate to go down. Once the gate had lowered, the AEV continued to the other end of the track where it picked up the cargo with R2D2 on board. After the cargo had been picked up, the AEV continued back to the gate where it again had to wait seven seconds for the gate to lower. Finally once the gate had lowered for the second time, the AEV went back to the starting position and stopped right before the foam block.
The team learned that the AEV design worked consistently every time it was run so it could be tested on the first day of lab 11.
