The arduino programming basics lab was all about getting familiar with the program that is used to write and download code to the arduino which in turn makes the AEV move along the track. Simple commands were practiced that make the AEV do stuff like speed up, slow down, and stop. These commands will become essential in the final code as they are the backbone of the arduino programming.
The team now knows how to perform basic arduino commands and has learned how to troubleshoot pesky problems that may occur during future labs.
Future investigations will examine the AEV’s external sensors. It also will examine propeller wind tunnel testing which will be done by the instructional team.
