The team is to develop an Advanced Energy Vehicle (AEV) to transport people from Linden to Easton and Polaris. The AEV will be autonomous, electric-powered and travel suspended from a monorail system. Materials will include a PVC sheet structure, monorail wheels, electric motors, propellers, and the AEV control system including feedback control sensors.

The project budget is $500K. Budget Constraints include energy, time, capital, and R&D costs, as well as accuracy and safety violations (“Advanced Energy Vehicle Mission Concept Review and Deliverables”).
