Grading Philosophy
Often, grades can be a source of stress and anxiety—I hope this statement eases that a bit for all of you. While I will be providing you a letter grade for this class, none of the grades throughout the semester are final and revisions are not only accepted but encouraged as a way for you to achieve the grade you want in this course. The majority of the points will come from the small weekly activities for class, as a way to take off some of the stress that midterms and final projects can cause due to their large overall impact on the final grade. This will be an ongoing conversation throughout the semester, and I will check-in with all of you often.
