About Me

Hello Y’all!

My name is Amanda England and I am a member of the Michael J. Dunn Sport and Wellness Scholars. In high school I was an active member of the marching band and colorguard as well as the dance team at Buckeye High School. I was also involved in numerous clubs such as National Honors Society, Students Against Destructive Decisions, and Spanish club. At THE Ohio State University I began studying athletic training with hopes of going to graduate school for physical therapy. After my first semester, I learned that lecture style classrooms were not for me and that small, discussion based classes were my strong suite. I also learned that athletic training is not my passion and that I could no longer study it. I have since finished my second semester with my new major of pre-health information management and systems. This major is essentially anything in healthcare that is business oriented or does not result in direct patient care. I hope to use this major to go to graduate school and earn my Ph. D. in physical therapy. Finally, I plan to run my own physical therapy practice in the future that focuses on pediatric care.
