Collaborate with our partners to connect parents in the child welfare system with opioid disorders to evidence-based treatment and link them with a Peer Recovery Supporter.
- Child Welfare agencies will use the UNCOPE assessment tool to screen 80% of parents entering the system for substance use disorders related to opioids.
- 75% of those parents with an opioid use disorder will work with a family peer mentor.
- The Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS), and the Needs Portal will be used to keep track of screening tools administered and data collection.
- The partner counties will have information on when family peer mentor matches are made and the frequency of the visits.
