Dual Enrollment/College Credit Plus
Transfer credit may be an important aspect of your journey to becoming a Buckeye Nurse. Consider the following items when planning your course of study at Ohio State:
- The transfer credit center reviews all submitted transcripts for transfer credit. State and university policies must be followed when awarding transfer credit.
- Credit that does not meet fulfilled the BSN degree requirements will be elective credit that counts towards the 121 credit hours required for graduation.
- Only direct equivalent transfer courses can fulfill the BSN prerequisites. See the University’s definition of transfer credit types.
- Students completing College Credit Plus or dual enrollment are encouraged to use transferology.com to confirm the transferability of coursework.
- College Credit Plus or dual enrollment credit may not reduce time to graduation. The nursing courses cannot be expedited.
- All college level course work transcripts must be received by the end of the Ohio State Spring 2025 semester for progression standards to be verified.
- For students who may take a course outside of Ohio State in the 1st year or did not submit transcripts for College Credit Plus or other college level coursework when admitted to Ohio State, here is information on where to send transcripts, please visit this webpage.

AP Information
Here is the information about AP scores:
- AP scores of a 3, 4 or 5 will be accepted as credit coming in from high school.
- Click here to review the credit you can earn (click on the down arrow in the gray bar) and where to send AP scores.
- Ohio State receives and posts scores electronically; scores are typically posted the same day as received. Scores for incoming students sent to Ohio State on exam day are usually processed by July 10. Scores sent after exam day are generally processed within three weeks from the request date.
