My video shows the early process of a piece i’m starting, it involves the spreading of ink around pieces of leaves and the patterns that come from that. What i’m doing here is creating a circle of water over the pieces of leaves i have placed, basically prepping for the ink drop. By putting water first, the color spreads easier and more freely. Right now i’ve only experimented with blue pigment/ink and in the future i would like to introduce new colors or combination of colors…maybe even different shapes.
-Make a circle of water around the pile of pigment (ink, watercolor, other)
-touch the brush to the pile of paint
-paint will leach out of pile into watery pool but not beyond the perimeter first made.
-what is the maximum circle you can make?
-continue
Nice to see the process slowed and the repetition necessary.
