Changes in the university policy for IDs mean faculty, staff and students will no longer be issued both a BuckID and a veterinary medicine badge. A single combination BuckID/Vet Med badge will be issued. New badges include all of the same details and resemble current badges. New college employees and students will receive the single badge, used for identification and swipe access to our spaces. Current faculty, staff and students should continue using existing IDs for swipe access. If a badge is lost or damaged, the new single badge will be issued at that point.
NEW (August 2024) – Employees, managers, or department representatives can now complete an online form to obtain a new or replacement CVM/BuckID badge.
How to obtain a new ID badge:
- Complete and submit the online CVM ID Badge Request Online Form.
- The form will route to CVM HR to validate your affiliation with the college, your title, and the responsible payor.
- Do NOT go to the BuckID Office until you receive your confirmation email.
- Print off the email or take your smartphone to the OSU BuckID Office.
- Don’t forget your old ID badge if you are getting a replacement. Lost or stolen badges require the employee to pay for a replacement.
- Show them the validation email.
- Get your new combined BuckID/CVM ID Badge.
