Veterans House
237 East 17th Avenue

The Veterans House is a homelike housing option for students who are veterans, active duty, reserves, and National Guard. The house is located three blocks from campus and was renovated in September 2011. Single and double occupancy furnished rooms with academic year contracts available.

Wilce Student Health Center

The Wilce Student Health Center is a Joint Commission accredited outpatient facility providing a variety of health care services to the student population. All students enrolled at the university are eligible to use SLSHS. They provide services for the following needs:

Counseling and Consultation Services

Ohio State University’s Counseling and Consultation Service, housed in the Office of Student Life, provides individual and group mental health services, psychoeducational workshops and outreach programming to currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate and professional students, as well as spouses/partners of students who are covered by the Student Health Insurance Plan.

CCS offers a wide variety of services to meet the individual needs of each student. Our staff continuously seek to enhance our ability to serve students from a place of humility. Our services are intended to be culturally sensitive and are available in multiple languages.

Through clinical services, outreach programming and consultations, we work to address concerns including, but not limited to:

The university is located in the city of Columbus, Ohio; the largest city in Ohio as of 2020 and the 14th largest city in the U.S. with over 900,000 residents (approximately 57% White; 30% Black, 5% of Asian descent; 6% Hispanic/Latino descent; and 3.2% from other races/ethnicities).
