The Carmen (Canvas) learning management system is designed with accessibility in mind. For more information, see Canvas’ accessibility statement on their web site.

If you experience difficulty with any component of an online course because of a disability, please refer to this statement in your College of Nursing syllabus and contact your instructor as soon as you become aware of the issue:

Students requesting accommodation for disability are responsible for notifying the course director by the end of the first week of the semester to discuss specific needs. Self-identification is the only way to assure that the instructor can make the appropriate accommodation. Students should provide a letter from the Office for Disability Services (098 Baker Hall, 113 W. 12th Ave; Office: (614) 292-3307; FAX: (614) 292-4190; VP: (614) 500-4445; email: ods@osu.edu) to verify the disability.
