How do I reset my password?

To reset the password you use to log into university systems (the password you use with your name-dot-number), go to My.osu.edu.

Your College of Nursing username and password are the same as your OSU one.

New students in the College of Nursing will receive their CON account information one week before classes begin.

I need a basic orientation to Carmen. Where can I find one?

A basic orientation to Carmen for students can be found on the Office of Distance Education and eLearning’s Resource Center pages.

I’m having trouble viewing content on Carmen. How can I resolve this?

First, make sure your browser is not blocking the Carmen content. Follow the steps in this article to stop your browser from blocking content in Carmen.

Next, try changing browsers. For example, if you’re using Chrome, try Firefox instead.

How do I access the College of Nursing Remote Desktop?

Instructions to access Remote Desktop are available online. Note we do not recommend using the Remote Desktop to view videos. Playback might be choppy and you may not be able to hear sound.

Where do I view the College of Nursing streaming videos for my course, and what if I have trouble viewing them?

View course videos that are not in Carmen on the CON streaming server. If you have trouble viewing the videos, refer to the help guide linked on the streaming server page.

I can’t view a College of Nursing Panopto video. What should I do?

Please contact con-s-help@osu.edu with your issue and state the link of the video you cannot view. If you don’t know the link, state the specific Carmen course, module, and name of the Content item you are trying to view.
