- Many historians believe that Columbus did what he did because of the Spanish monarchs. Columbus was a savage towards the people and killed many to show dominance to his men and the natives.

- Columbus was evil towards the natives forcing families to be separated, men and women to be put into hard labor, and lastly many natives died. Columbus also raped many of the native women.
