This series is jointly organized by the Drug Enforcement and Policy Center at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, the Collateral Consequences Resource Center, the Federal Sentencing Reporter, and the David F. and Constance B. Girard-diCarlo Center for Ethics, Integrity and Compliance at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law.
The series’ three panels will discuss the use of the pardon power by President Donald Trump and how it may influence pardoning in the future. They will consider whether Trump’s irregular pardoning may have been a blessing in disguise by prompting much-needed reforms in law and in practice.
