Hello friends, this week is a revision lesson that reminds us to sharpen our research skills with proper way of thinking. All college students do searches and researches to find their passion, knowledge, or maybe just to complete assignment (haha). Frankly speaking, I cannot differentiate search and research before studying this module. Now I know that even researching about a topic, there are a few requirements that need to be followed, or questions to be answered before determining a source’s reliability, quality and utility (slide 14,15,16). Other than that, we learned about Wiki resources and other search engine basics (slide 18,19). From Wiki resources, we can use all that resource to free topic-learning, write quotations, see free news source and basically everything a student needs to know. I mean, who are you kidding, it is so helpful to a student like me that always needs guidance. These are useful things that I did not even know, and this module is super helpful on that. Last but not least, Boolean logic is something new and now I should start applying it in my study research planning (Slide 20,21). Google searches and Scholarly searches are useful and students all over the world should utilize them to succeed. I am grateful that this course has taught me so much.
