Immediate opening for a chemistry postdoc

I have multiple, immediate openings for postdocs in my research group (https://www.mae.ncsu.edu/kota/) at North Carolina State University to work on actively funded NSF, NIH and DOD projects. My research is in the area of soft materials with emphasis on surfaces and interfaces. I am looking to fill one of the positions with a candidate who has a PhD in chemistry or a closely related field with good hands-on experience in polymer synthesis/processing and characterization. Prior experience in wetting, surfaces and interfaces is preferred. I request interested candidates to contact me (akota2@ncsu.edu) with their CV.

Princeton Quantum Initiative open faculty positions and postdoctoral fellowships

The Princeton Quantum Initiative (PQI) is a large-scale university investment that brings together a vibrant community of faculty and students across engineering and the natural sciences who work on a wide range of topics in quantum information science.  We are excited to announce that PQI has two faculty searches as well as openings for our prize PQI postdoctoral fellowship program this year:

  • Tenure-Track / Tenured Faculty Position in Theoretical Quantum Science and Engineeringin collaboration with School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS). Candidates in quantum theory, including quantum information theory, quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, quantum systems theory, and fundamental quantum science are encouraged to apply.
  • Tenure-Track Assistant Professor inExperimental Quantum Science in collaboration with the Department of Physics. Candidates in all areas of experimental quantum science, including quantum sensing, computing, and networks, who research different experimental platforms, are encouraged to apply.
  • Princeton Quantum Initiative (PQI) Postdoctoral Fellowship are highly competitive positions supporting research in quantum science and engineering across several departments throughout the university, including physics, electrical engineering, computer science, chemistry, and mechanical engineering. Research areas include foundational quantum science, quantum materials, devices for quantum technologies, and quantum computer science. Appointments will be for one year, renewable up to three years, depending on performance and funding, with a highly competitive salary.  Applicants should have a strong track record of research excellence in a related field, and should have or be approaching a PhD in a related discipline (Physics, EE, Chemistry, or Computer Science). Applications must be submitted online and received by October 20, 2024, 11:59 EST. Members of groups that have been historically underrepresented in quantum science and engineering are encourage to apply. The work location for this position is in-person on campus at Princeton University.
