We are seeking highly motivated, upcoming university graduates who are willing and able to relocate and ready to take their careers to the next level. Our LDP internship is a precursor to our rotational programs, which combine hands-on experience with unparalleled networking opportunities designed to accelerate your career development at BASF.


  • As a highly motivated graduate student, you will spend a summer working at a North American BASF site in either Wyandotte, MI or Tarrytown, NY.
  • Interns will work in various areas such as development, technical service, production support, technology specialist
  • This program is targeted toward traditionally under-represented groups in technical / R&D areas, including but not limited to- female students and students of African American, Asian, Latino/Hispanic, Native American, or Pacific Islander descent

We offer students the opportunity to spend a summer working at a North American BASF site within the U.S. These practical and meaningful assignments will give you an opportunity to apply what you’ve learned in school during this 10 to 12-week program.

The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Eastern Illinois University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of Analytical Chemistry starting in August 2020.  A Ph.D. in chemistry or a closely related field is required, with post-doctoral experience preferred. Teaching duties will include undergraduate and graduate (MS) courses in analytical chemistry, as well as general chemistry/general education courses.  Individuals who are qualified to teach courses in both analytical chemistry and another area of chemistry are especially encouraged to apply. Establishment of an active externally funded research program with undergraduate and MS students and participation in department and university service activities are expected.  Teaching may include traditional, hybrid, and/or online modes of delivery/instruction.  Demonstrated commitment to diversity and experience with promoting inclusive excellence is required. The Chemistry Department at Williams College is hiring this year for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry, with a broadly defined research scope. They are especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the intellectual vibrancy and diversity of the academic community through their research, teaching and service, and they welcome applications from members of traditionally underrepresented groups in the sciences.

Williams is a 4-year undergraduate institution located in western Massachusetts. Our teacher-scholars have an average teaching load of one class and two lab sections per semester. Schmidt Data Scientist Positions at Princeton University

The Center for Statistics and Machine Learning’s DataX Fund supports the hiring of six data scientists who will create and improve data-analysis software to operate at large scale, leading to faster discovery, wider impact and greater continuity.

These data scientists will work in faculty-led, collaborative, multidisciplinary environments, and leverage their skills to advance the progress of data-driven scientific discovery. Three research areas are of particular interest:

  • Catalysis – led by the Department of Chemistry, in collaboration with other departments including Chemical Engineering, Molecular Biology, and Computer Science.
  • Biomedical Data Science – led by the Department of Computer Science, in collaboration with the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics, Princeton Neuroscience Institute, and additional engineering departments.
  • Technology Policy – led by the Center for Information Technology Policy.

Prior expertise in the above areas is not required — the data scientists will be mentored in the relevant research area. They will have access to Princeton’s first-class resources and have the opportunity to co-author academic publications.
