The Arthur E. Baggs Memorial Library, housed within the Department of Art’s ceramic area, is a study collection of books, objects, tools, glaze notebooks, as well as many test tiles, primarily pertaining to the studio art movement in 20th century ceramics. The collection continues to grow under the guidance of the ceramic area’s faculty.
The Baggs Collection includes an extensive library on ceramics and ceramics-related material, including a large collection of ceramic art objects, many created by former OSU teachers and students. Printed materials circulate at the discretion of the Library.
