In the 2017 USDA Ag Census, Ohio ranked 4th in the number of certified organic dairies and 14th in production. Ohio organic dairy producers have distinct perspectives, approaches, challenges, and experiences when managing herd health, but few studies have documented these. Ohio State researchers used semi-structured interviews to examine herd health management for the organic dairy industry in and around Ohio.
