In addition to high quality predatory mites, biopesticides are produced in laboratories in Kenya. Real IPM has global rights to several isolates of Metarhizium.

    This program, which began in January 2017, will increase the productivity and profitability of horticulture value chains, while integrating large numbers of women and youth. Over its four years of implementation, the program will benefit more than 40,000 rural families, which will include 60 percent women and 30 percent youth as activity beneficiaries. Mboga na Matunda will achieve its objectives by: scaling improved technologies and practices; scaling market system models that serve as platforms for technology expansion; and strengthening the overall capacity of the industry, including the enabling environment for incentivizing investments along the entire value chain.”
