The East Africa Vegetable Crop IPM Innovation Lab is a partnership among collaborators in Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and the United States to build capacity among member institutions to conduct IPM research and training. Our work focuses on five areas:
Diagnosis Technology Communication Training Progress
Diagnosis of vegetable crop disorders and associated insects, pathogens, nematodes, and weeds.
IPM technology development, field testing, and dissemination for vegetable crops.
IPM Communication for pest diagnosis and management.
Short- and long-term IPM training, including workshops and graduate education.
