Research and Interests
I am a proud Columbus, OH native. I completed my undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University prior to joining the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program (BSGP) at OSU. My dissertation project seeks to validate a novel AAV gene therapy for the metabolic and behavioral symptoms of a rare genetic disease, Prader-Willi syndrome. I am interested in all topics relating to gene therapy, adipose tissue, metabolism, and social isolation. In my spare time, I enjoy rooting for the Buckeyes and taking care of my family’s honey bees.
