Hello! My name is Kevin Calamari, and I am a 4th year medical student at The Ohio State University College of Medicine applying to Emergency Medicine this year. This site is a collection of my accomplishments throughout medical school, including reflections on my advancement as a clinician, research projects, awards, and more. They highlight my ruminations on rotations and my future, my favorite patient encounters, and the growth from my preclinical years to being on the cusp of graduation. Hometown: Libertyville, IL

Undergraduate degree: Bachelors of Arts in Neuroscience and Medicine, Health & Society from Vanderbilt University

Proudest accomplishment: Completing the 2019 Chicago Marathon in under 4 hours (I ran a marathon but I am NOT a marathoner!)

Second proudest accomplishment: Keeping multiple plants alive throughout medical school

Favorite sports teams: Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Ohio State Buckeyes

Favorite novel: The Stand by Stephen King

Favorite movie: Mad Max: Fury Road

Favorite TV show: New Girl

Future plans (outside of medicine): Become a dog dad, learn how to make my own sushi, complete a triathlon
